I was fighting a dragon near Markarth one time and I had it on the ground and was beating it into submission, before I finally finished it off with a FUS RO DAH! Unknown to me, Lydia was behind the dragon attacking its tail. My Thu'um killed her and launched her off a cliff :\

sadly, that is true. even the thief/brotherhood followers constantly step on pressure plates and traps. I'm like :stare:
